Most people know Michelle Williams for her romantic connection to her late partner, Heath Ledger. Although her relationship with Ledger had been a part of the past when the actor died of an accidental drug overdose, she never gave up on finding love.
She married producer and songwriter Phil Elverum in 2018. Their tumultuous marriage was short-lived, though, and while the pair reportedly split, she was still legally married to Phil when she met theater director Thomas Kail. That’s where the story gets more complicated: Thomas also happened to be married to Angela Christian at the time.
Rumors suggest their affair began in late fall 2018 while Michelle and Thomas were on the set of “Fosse/Verdon.” It wasn’t until 2019 that both parties divorced their partners. In 2020, Kail married his mistress and they welcomed a son together. The couple recently welcomed their second baby together.
