R. Kelly

R. Kelly, a former singer and record producer, was sentenced to twenty years in prison at the beginning of 2023. The charges against him included three counts of producing images of child abuse and three counts of convincing minors to enter into intimate relationships.

The nineteen years of his sentence will be served concurrently with his existing sentence in New York, which was handed down to him for the crimes of racketeering and human trafficking. This means that he will be required to serve an additional year in prison.
