At the age of 19, Goldie Jeanne Hawn dropped out of college to study drama. Before she got into film, she ran her own ballet company and was a professional dancer. She also appeared in the comedy program “Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In.”
Once the star started making big, she earned an Academy Award and a Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in “Cactus Flower.” Her long relationship with Kurt Russell inspired romantics the world over, with the couple celebrating their 40-year anniversary this year.
The baby boomer actress appeared in 2021 in the documentary “Celebrating Laughter: The Life and Films of Colin Higgins.”
