The young Joe Biden played American football at Archmere Academy, scoring an astonishing 19 touchdown passes as a wide receiver and running back. Moreover, he was class president in his junior and senior years of high school.
He did a great job on the football field, but went on to graduate from the University of Delaware and get a law degree from Syracuse University in New York.
The young Joe Biden was drafted for the Vietnam War, but he didn’t pass the medical examination due to asthma. He soon turned to politics, becoming one of the youngest US senators ever elected (he was 29).
