The late musician has gone down in history for a lot of different reasons, one being his music. However, he has also been known in the media back in the ’70s to be addicted to cocaine. David Bowie has never tried to deny it and he has spoken about how his addictive personality played a huge part in his addiction, along with how easily accessible the drug was in the United States at the time he was addicted to it.
He did, however, get sober eventually and spent the last years of his life free from the vice, until he passed away in 2016.
