According to her, clay is one of the best things you can put in your body. The actress allegedly heard about this strange diet from a taxi driver. She says it “binds to other elements and materials in your body”. The method can supposedly help you get rid of “negative isotopes.”
According to doctors, this is a bogus medical claim. Your liver and kidneys don’t need extra help to process toxins. Although clay may contain trace amounts of some beneficial minerals, such as calcium and iron, there are better ways to include them in your diet (for example, by eating foods packed with those minerals like broccoli, kale, spinach, and nuts).
