Yes, there are bread vending machines. The technology has gotten so advanced that there are some that even bake it when you order it! However, we aren’t talking about that one today. This one can be found in France, where they have such machines that sell freshly baked baguettes!
You would think that with so many boulangeries, they wouldn’t have much use for
..these, but they are actually still very popular! One of the first ones was actually opened in Paris, and it is still working to this day. We wonder if they would be as popular if they came to the U.S.
