7. Brett Butler: Personal Struggles
Brett Butler had the leading role on the ABC sitcom “Grace Under Fire” between 1993 and 1998, but that didn’t stop her from going broke. There were rumors that the show was actually canceled due to Butler’s difficult on-set behavior and struggles with addiction.
After several sessions in rehab, the actress decided to leave LA for a quiet farm in Georgia. That’s where she ran out of all her money and ended up moving into a homeless shelter. Butler managed to bounce back, and in 2011, she made a comeback in the Hollywood industry.
She quickly scored roles in both “Anger Management” and “The Young and the Restless.” More recently, the actress has appeared on “The Walking Dead” and “The Morning Show.” Working hard on her fresh start has allowed her to amass a fortune of $10 million.
