Obviously, the former president denied having any involvement with Ms. Daniels. The woman, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, has stated in multiple interviews that she met Trump at a charity golf tournament held in July 2006.

According to her, they spent a romantic night in his hotel room at Lake Tahoe, a fancy resort area between Nevada and California. Trump’s lawyer vehemently denied this at the time. It’s worth mentioning that Melania Trump was not at the tournament as she had just given birth.

Asked why she accepted the hush payment, Ms. Daniels said she was worried for the safety of her family. Apparently, Trump and his lawyer turned not only to bribery but also to threats.

In 2011, shortly after Ms. Daniels agreed to be interviewed by In Touch magazine about the alleged extramarital affair, she said an unknown man came to her and her daughter in a car park and told her to “leave Trump alone.”

But that’s not all. She also recalled the man saying her daughter was beautiful and it would have been a shame if something happened to her mom.
