Answer: Although military service is currently optional in the US, all men who are 18 through 25 must register for the Selective Service. The last time the US used the draft was during the Vietnam War.

Question No. 11: Anyone applying for American citizenship is expected to know some things about major historical figures, including Susan B. Anthony and Abraham Lincoln. Another potential question may be, “What is one thing Thomas Jefferson is known for?”

Answer: A man of many accomplishments, the former president is famous for being the principal author of the US Constitution and also a true Renaissance man due to his many talents in philosophy, writing, religion, economics, mathematics, and horticulture.

Question No. 12: The Federalist Papers urged the ratification of the US Constitution. Name one of the writers.

Answer: This one may be easier for fans of the award-winning Broadway show “Hamilton,” as its main character, Alexander Hamilton, was one of the three men that wrote the Federalist Papers. The other two were John Jay and James Madison. These three men penned and published those essays to rouse public support for the new political system proposed in the Constitution.
