10. Lyndon B. Johnson

Lyndon B. Johnson served as the 36th president of the US. Initially elected as vice president in 1960, he became the chief of state in 1963 following John F. Kennedy’s assassination.

According to historians, during his presidency, Johnson signed the Civil Rights Act into law, initiated the “Great Society” social service programs (including Medicare and Medicaid), and put up with the national opposition to his great expansion of American involvement in the Vietnam War.

Because of his relationships with Congress, the pursuit of equal justice for all, and his vision, he is ranked as the 10th best president. What do you think about Lyndon B. Johnson?
