In the early 2000s, Halle Berry was quite a big name in Hollywood. Films such as Gothika, Monster’s Ball, Swordfish, and, of course, X-Men made her an enormous star. Besides being a great actress, Berry was also known for being incredibly good-looking and often topped many “most attractive person” lists.
During this period, the stunning actress was one of the highest-paid names in Hollywood, and she became the first black woman to win an Academy Award for Best Actress (in Monster’s Ball). In fact, to date, she’s still the only black woman to win this award.
