We should include this one in a “classic grocery store fails” list. Same idea, the same special day, but different merchandise. I guess this is what you buy when you’re flush with money. Or when you truly think your mom will be flushed seeing her new present. No matter how obsessed your mother can be with cleaning, my advice would be to stay away from these types of gift ideas.
This reminds me of my brother. He once made a hand-made Mother’s Day card when he was eight years old and gave it to our mom. Inside he had written some lovely words praising her amazing ability to unstack the dishwasher efficiently and frequently.
She obviously smiled and thanked him…But who knows what was running through her mind!
