Cate Blanchett has appeared in a number of blockbusters, but few would have predicted her involvement with the Marvel franchise. Nonetheless, in Thor: Ragnarok, she played Thor as well as Loki’s evil sister Hela. She revealed in a panel at the massive convention Comic Con that she was “happily” dragged into the franchise by her children.
Due to them, she ended up seeing the MCU movies, and when she was offered the role, she didn’t hesitate to pick it up. Isn’t it such a cute “full circle” moment that the mom ended up playing a character in the very franchise the kids introduced her to?
