9. Slipknot
Slipknot is well known for its aggressive style of music, attention-grabbing image, and energetic live shows. Its members rapidly rose to fame after releasing their eponymous debut album in 1999. As one of the biggest rock bands in the world, it was nominated for 10 Grammy Awards and won one in 2006 for “Before I Forget.”
During a 2019 show in California, musician Corey Taylor stopped the concert when fans were apparently getting squished and hurt. He asked them if they were all right before telling the crowd to back up. Moreover, the singer made sure to let the crowd know that the band wouldn’t start singing again if they didn’t back up, saying, “We’re all here together.”
