Both Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas were married to other people when they started seeing each other in the mid-90. The two actors had gotten close while shooting the 1995 romantic comedy “Two Much”.
Griffith had already hit the headlines because of her turbulent on-and-off relationship with actor Don Johnson, to whom she was married when she first met Banderas. Yet the actress was still a celebrity in her own right, receiving an Oscar nomination in 1989 for her acting in “Working Girl.”
She and Banderas quickly divorced their previous partners and tied the knot just a year later. However, in 2015, they announced their split, but the former couple reportedly remained friends.
