Danny Moder was married to makeup artist Vera Steimberg when he met Julia Roberts in 2000. She was dating actor Benjamin Bratt at the time. Moder’s marriage lasted six months before he asked his wife for a divorce. After Moder completed his divorce in 2002, he married the Pretty Woman star in the summer of that year.
Julia later said that she had nothing to do with the couple’s split, but the negative reactions surrounded her for several years. She and Moder are still together—which is praiseworthy—and have three kids, but it seems that Moder’s family isn’t a big fan of the actress. Anyway, this is a happy story where the mistress turns into a successful wife.
