As the old adage says, “If someone’s nice to you but rude to the waiter, they aren’t a nice person.” The world found out this about James Corden in 2022, as revelations about his impolite restaurant behavior became public.
The Late, Late Show host received backlash after reports emerged that he “yelled like crazy” at waiters at NYC’s famed restaurant, Balthazar, a place where lots of celebs eat.
Here’s what the eatery’s owner, Keith McNally, wrote on his Instagram account: “James Corden is a talented comedian, but a tiny cretin of a man.” He also added, “And the most abusive customer my 25-year-old restaurant has ever seen.”
As a result, the restaurant banned Corden from dining there. Auch!
